TTS.fish is paid text-to-speech for live streamers, built by the team behind Fishtank LIVE. Viewers pay to have a message read out on your stream in an AI voice, and you get paid through Stripe.

How do I get started?

  • Create an account with email, or sign in with Twitch, Kick, Google, or Discord. Your username becomes your link: tts.fish/your_name.
  • Confirm your email, then connect Stripe. You don’t need a Stripe account first: we set one up for you, and onboarding usually takes a few minutes. Have your ID and bank details ready.
  • Set your prices and voices.
  • Start the player, go live, and share your link.

How do viewers send a message?

Viewers open your link or scan your QR code, type a message, pick a voice, and pay with a card through Stripe. They don’t need an account or an app, and they must be 18 or older. Prices are in US dollars. Their card is authorized when they pay and only charged once the message has played.

Which streaming platforms does it work with?

All of them. If your viewers can open a link or scan a QR code, it works: Kick, Twitch, YouTube, X, Rumble, anywhere.

How do I play messages on stream?

Viewers can only send messages while your player is running, so start it before you go live.

  • Browser player: log in, open your own tts.fish page (the Playback tab), and click Start Listening. Keep the tab open while you stream and route its audio into OBS. If you close it, your page stops taking messages about 30 seconds later. Nothing to install.
  • Desktop app: a tray app for Windows, macOS, and Linux that does the same job without a browser tab.
  • Overlay: on your Playback page, click OBS Overlay and add the URL to OBS as a browser source. It shows each message after it plays, plus your QR code and, optionally, your link.

Both players let you pick the output device. The OBS guidecovers capturing the audio on Windows, macOS, and Linux. A message that is ready but doesn’t play within 10 minutes is dropped, and the viewer isn’t charged.

Which voices can I use?

Voices are powered by ElevenLabs. Choose from the built-in voices, add voices from the ElevenLabs voice library, or clone a voice from a recording of at least 10 seconds. You can add up to 25 custom voices, and you need the rights to any voice you add.

How do I set prices and message limits?

Under Settings > Channels, each channel has its own base price (from $1), maximum message length, and allowed voices. Add price tiers to charge more for longer messages. To put premium voices behind a higher price, give them their own channel and untick them on your main one.

Can I block words or approve messages first?

Yes. Every message waits for your approval on the Playback page unless you turn on auto-approve, and messages left unreviewed for 24 hours are rejected. Add words and phrases to your blocklist under Settings > Moderation; blocked messages are refused before the viewer pays. With auto-approve on, set a cooldown on your Playback page for a gap between messages. You can reject or skip any message and ban a sender. Viewers aren’t charged for messages you reject or skip. What are fishtoys?

Fishtoys are real-life actions viewers pay you to do on stream: pushups, dares, shoutouts, whatever you list. Name the action, set a price, and add an image. Orders land in your live queue. Mark one complete when you’ve done it, before the viewer’s card hold expires, and the payment is captured. The deadline varies by card. Skip it and the viewer isn’t charged.

How much does TTS.fish cost?

No monthly fee and no minimum volume. We take 7% + 30¢ per paid message or fishtoy. Stripe processing fees also apply. Messages and fishtoys start at $1. See how that compares with other TTS tools.

How do payouts work?

Payouts go to your bank through Stripe Connect. Timing depends on your account’s payout schedule and any holds or verification requirements. Check your Stripe account for the current schedule and required actions.

What happens if a viewer charges back?

Disputes go through Stripe. The full amount of the disputed message comes out of your balance (our fee isn’t refunded), plus Stripe’s dispute fee, and we email you. If the bank rules in your favor, we send that money back, minus Stripe’s dispute fee, which Stripe doesn’t refund. The email address and saved card behind the dispute are banned from paying anyone on TTS.fish. If a bank flags a payment as fraud before it’s disputed, we refund it automatically: that comes out of your balance like any refund, but with no dispute fee.
